Fly Fishing Guide

Cardos Valley, at the Catalan Pyrenees, welcomed and hosted me forty years ago. Here I have earned most of my experience on fly fishing.

​

I have been living here for 25 years already and my passion for fly fishing made it become my philosophy of life and my profession. With time, I ended up offering a wide range of trustworthy products such as international fishing guide or fishing instruction. In addition, I distribute Fly Fishing material from well-known brands and I provide hand-made artificial flies for fishing.

​

I speak Catalan, Spanish, French, English and Dutch. This facilitates communication and allows me to be a great host and to give the best advice to people all over the world.

​

www.marcfly.com sums up proposals to fly fishing buffs and I highlight my availability to organize outings or tailored trips.

​

My passion for fishing grows day to day and I strive to overcome new challenges and reach my milestones. After many years working on it, I can provide a lot of knowledge and expertise to fly fishermen. Beneath, you can find a summary of my background that I am humbleness sharing with you.

MY EXPERIENCE

  • COACHING

  • FAIRS AND WORKSHOPS

  • 2003 – Consultant of the National Belgian Team at the World Championship performed on Aragon (Spain): we ended up with the 2nd place.

​​

  • Since 2005 – Coaching of junior and senior Catalan teams for National Championships.

 

  • 2008 – Consultant of the National Belgian Team at European Championship performed on Cantabria (Spain): we reached the 8th place.

​

 

  • Since 2007 – Taking part every year at the International Fishing Fair of Paris (T.O.F. Fly Fishing’s stand) as artificial flies assembler.

​​

  • Since 2000 – Taking part every year at the International Fly Fishing Fair of Fleurus (Belgium).

​

  • Demonstrations or Workshops: From 2000 – I take part very often and periodically on assembly workshops all over Catalonia, France and Andorra.

  • 2015 – I took part through Lleida’s Council in the promotional TV report for fishing on Lleida’s province, played on Natura TV.

  • 2009 – Participant in the Catalan series What a country, with Llucià Ferrer, played on TV3 (National Catalan channel).

  • 2007 – Participant in the educative program Beasts: the river trout, with Pol Izquierdo and played again on TV3.

  • 2006 – I took part in the documentary: High mountain fishing, recorded by TN Productions.

  • Participant in the series Passenger, with the writer Matthew Tree, on TV3 channel.

  • 2004 – I took part in the TV report about fishing within Andorra, recorded and played by RTBF (Belgian).
